old projects are not working as good as on CbB

I feel like my old projects are not working as good as on CbB. sometimes it takes 30-90 seconds to pause the project (!). on example I open one of my old project on CbB and there is no problem with a stupid pause. then I open it with sonar and when few tracks are playing it is really hard to pause the project XD

You wouldn't happen to be using a Focusrite Scarlett with the recently released - and apparently problematic - driver update...?

Well sometimes I pause with spacebar and sometimes I use mouse cursor. Doesn't matter really in both cases it sucks. And I do not have Scarlett.

What interface and driver mode? If onboard audio with WASAPI Shared, try WASAPI Exclusive.

Try Reset Config File in preferences. Sonar will back up AUD.INI and create a new default one.
