Run the IK Installer to update

What’s new in version 1.10.0:

  • Introducing TONEX Modeler, now a separate app with batch processing and improved accuracy.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred in some cases when loading specific Tone Models from ToneNET.
  • Fixed an issue where the Favorite star did not work properly on certain selected Tone Models.
  • General reliability improvements.
  • 1.10.1

Fixed an issue where re-training a capture did not overwrite the existing model.

The capture batch processing is a LONG awaited update.

That said, I find this part concerning and am curious what this looks like as I think it could muddy the waters if it lowers the capture quality for people with mediocre systems that were willing to let an advanced capture take many hours.

This shouldn't be a problem for my system in particular but I can imagine buying a capture pack and not knowing if TONEX makes a call based on "best results for their system in the shortest time" vs literally the best quality possible which is what I'm after.

We couldn’t extract the files from the zip. Please check the file and try again (code: cl202)

Twice after the meter went to 100%, IK's Product Manager failed.  1.10.1 is smaller than 1.10.0.

Maybe there's a defect?  Maybe it's because I don't have the hardware?  Maybe its just a SNAFU!!

Wow.  That's bush league....

Did you notice that it was fixed within a few hours?  Personally, while I don't like when they make those kinds of errors, for the most part they do post corrections, sometimes within hours, like this one!

I did, but forgetting a .bin and an .exe. file in an installation package is still bush league.  There is no way that should happen - that isn't a "bug" - it is just carelessness and not checking.

I did . . . .

Thanks for clarifying that. To me it was unclear from your post that you had seen the post saying they had rectified the error.

They also had to release an update right after an update release on the same day after people had been beta testing this for a bit already.

For perspective, between the announcement release, the 2nd release and then the actual fixed release.  I downloaded over 18 GIGs from them to get my computers operational with the new update.  Imagine someone doing this on a poor connection or even  a metered one.  Not to mention a couple hours of my time doing the installs and waiting on the fairly slow downloads due to the limited bandwidth servers (not the connection getting to said servers).

I'm not complaining because the product itself is so good, but I understand the critique.

Just in case my comments were too subtle: (1) When I used the acronym SNAFU, it was intentional on my part because I too have seen these kinds of "Foul Ups" and (2) I don't like when they make those kinds of errors.
