Papa Mouse
Top of the image is how I create the file. As you see the audio file is in the audio director. Saving the project and reopening again the audio file is gone.

Papa Mouse
Unbelievable … the file “Midnight don’t lie.wav” is deleted in the project’s audio folder time after time the moment I press Ctrl+S But if I rename the file to “Midnight.wav” is stays. Seriously ? Are you guys for real ?

Christopher Amato
@Papa Mouse Sorry for the troubles here! I think I see what's happening here but your best bet will be to reach out to our support team for more personalized assistance. Are you changing the name of the audio file in the project folder after it is created? This will not work as you'd expect unfortunately as Next will look for the audio file under the name it was imported or created with. If you'd like to change the name of the clip, double click on the clip and change the name in the Inspector window on the right. This will ensure that everything stays connected in Next. This is a really good call out though! There may be some improvements to the UX we can make here in the future! Hope this helps! Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions

Papa Mouse
To Christopher Amato : (I don't know how to adress somebody) Oké (Very kind of you) I would like to have markers. Shortcut keys to place the locators for the loop function. Kinda pain in the a** zooming in to find the right spot to place a locator and then zoom out again to find and move those locators. Ctrl+L & Ctrl+R would be nice. This "Stretch to tempo" function ... most of the time my computer chrashes, sometimes it works and if it works ... cool ! Also already reported to support. (Practicing the sax before recordeng I slow down the backing tack.) Tempo detection please. (Not an add-on that doesn't work like in Sonar) The Routing "Input" setting for an audio track in the inspector is not saved with the file. Setting it to "None", next time opening the file Next turns the "Routing-Input" back to my input device as it does by default. I only want my saxophone to use the input device and the audio backing tracks set to "None" but Next does not safe that. Not a big bucketlist ... is'nt it ? I prefer Next above Sonar ... it is sober.
