Tunable drums by key and chord

As I sit here tuning my AD2 drums to a song I'm working on I wonder how nice it would be to have drum presets that would tune my drums to a specific chord (or key, or scale/mode) at the touch of a button as a place to start from. Years (decades) ago I was in a band with a drummer who wanted me to tune his drums to an A7 chord. After I did that his drums sounded amazing. Going after that sound is where my head is at right now. That's a feature that would definitely motivate me to bring out my debit card. It's already pretty simple to tune drums in Session Drummer. Might be a nice feature for Session Drummer 4.

Would be nice. 

I sometimes hand tune the samples I use for percussion (directly in tracks, not thru a sampler or other synth, so that I can carve the sound exactly the way I want it for each hit where needed) to match waht is going on; sometimes I leave them as they are to contrast, or tune them *away* from everything else to contrast.

It's a great sound when it all comes together. If I could get my drum sounds to fit in the pocket like Joe Morello's in 'Take 5' I would be  very happy.
