Better get the Signature 2 bundle with 56 native plugins for $149. Or $124 with the Take25 coupon.

If the Jack*sses would finally offer an "upgrade" I'd probably jump, but the only thing I gain by buying V2
is the Topline Vocal Suite.

For this price there will be something new shortly.  Do you know when the promo lasts?

Nope. But there’s only A-Type and Anthem that could be added ATM.

If these were included I'd probably pay the $125...still too much...but tired of waiting for an upgrade offer from V1

I understand. Maybe best to wait for Sig 3 in the fall.

I went to UAD's website thinking this sale was for everyone, but, you need a vault key to be eligible.

I laughed when I saw the following screen after trying to buy the bundle.

It brought to mind "Signs" (by the Five Man Electrical Band).

Is this the only new thing since V1 ?

There are 4 new amps, the SSL Channel and Bus Compressor, the new synth, and the exciter also since V1
but only the amps, SSL Bundle, and Topline Vocal are included in V2.  I bought the
Amps and SSL Bundle that were missing in the Mixtape Bundle for $75,
so the only thing I'm missing now are Topline, the Synth and the Exciter
and V2 only includes Topline and not the synth and the Exciter over
what I already have

They really got traumatized from people buying signature 1 for cheap in that bug sale that lasted a few hours when that bundle came out.

im guessing that is why they are so resistant to offer an upgrade path.

I thought they didn't offer proper upgrade paths even to the bundles before Signature 1 though. I ended up with duplicates right out the gate early on and now have triplicates of some of them.

I suspect it's just a they don't care thing as they can get people to buy again, more than trauma of bug sales.

Maybe you're right.

Despite that, I think it would be smart of them to allow an upgrade path at this stage. Most people will already have some (or most) of the Signature 2 plugins but would still consider purchasing the upgrade to stay under the Signature bundle umbrella for future upgrades

Completely agreed. Not having an upgrade path (that is reasonable in price) hurts sales.

A great example is Softube. They only ever gave you a credit for the single most expensive plugin you own in their "Volume" bundles, even if you owned all but a couple of the plugins from Volume. I wasn't in that scenario, but still owned a number of them. But with them giving next to no credit for that and now even removing upgrades based on owning any of the plugins altogether, I'll never buy Volume on principle.

Re-buying plugins over and over to get them in a bundle price for the ones you're missing with no credit just doesn't sit right.

In that time I've bought bundles from Arturia, UA (ignored UA since Signature 1 for the same reason) and a number of others. It actually put me off Softube quite a bit in general too, so I don't buy that much from them at all these days. Same with UA really..
