Issues with installation

Hello. First off all I want to say that I was very disappointed to learn that the support was ended for CbB. I downloaded it a year ago, last time I used it was in October 2024 and I wanted get back to it and saw that I had problems with activation. Pretty shameful that this too became just a cash grab like everything else. It was a good tool.


THE REAL ISSUE:

I downloaded the installer for Cakewalk Next but I get the following error. Can't even install it, let alone use it, and I'm just not gonna use the BandLab site to make music because it just starts to lag and it's a pain to use in case if your project is reasonably big.

Cakewalk Next is a different program and is not a replacement for Cakewalk by Bandlab. Cakewalk Sonar is the replacement for Cakewalk by Bandlab.

NOTE:  I have no experience with this issue.  I just looked up the error message online and one of the hits was to a post in the forum.  Just passing the information on. I defer to others who might know about this kind of issue,
