Anyone have and use the Nexus plugin host?  Seems like it would be an excellent value at $20.  I’ve been using SaviHost but this looks a lot more advanced and flexible.

I have it. I use it for practicing. Live 11 reports 370 some plugins for vst3 and most of them work. The nexus plugin manager reports problems with psp springbox vst2, amplitube 5 vst2, and camelspace which is only vst 2. See the reply below. There are 8 scenes per preset and presets are callable from midi so it seems feasible to use live. There is also a plugin, so it could be used inside DAWs to create complex fx setups.

It's been a while since I've scanned my plugins so I just rescanned - for vst3s I got this message - 

The following files appeared to be plugin files, but failed to load correctly:

WaveShell1-VST3 14.2_x64.vst3

My waves plugins are in the list of plugins and they load ok although I haven't tried running them.

For vst2s - 

The following files encountered fatal errors during validation:

PSP SpringBox.dll

Again, everything but PSP SpringBox is listed and loads. Just a heads up that there might be a couple plugins that cause problems ...
