I am thinking that, given that I have a few sample packs from Platinum Samples purchased for Session Drummer 3, maybe I should reinstall SX1P to get SD3 and open my old projects that use them. My one worry though is that it might install over some of the settings and important files that are installed with Sonar 2025 or CbB, and I want to check and make sure that nothing will break if I do this.

I remembered the last time I installed Sonar for Steam while I had Sonar X1 Producer installed and it broke Dimension Pro. I don't want this incident to be repeated if I could help it.

The way Steam forced SONAR Platinum to install creates a bunch of challenges for shared paths due to the limitations of that platform, but any other version of SONAR should generally be fine. I would then re-run the installer for Sonar afterwards to make sure that you then have the correct updated shared components that will get overwritten by the X1 Installer.

This seems to have worked with no issues! Thanks!
