Audio To Midi

In CbyB I was able to drag and drop an audio clip onto a midi track and it would  get converted to midi

This is not working in latest Free sonar.

Is Melodyne used in the conversion process ? as ive not installed this yet 

or better yet another  checkbox hidden away in the bowels

Yes, Melodyne is required to perform the Audio to MIDI conversion.

Normally it would be, but in this case its me near the Bavarian alps drinking some Bavarian dark ale.
