How to Recover Superior Drummer 3 Track in Sonar X3

I accidentally saved after I deleted a Superior Drummer track in Sonar X3. But when I reopen it, Superior Drummer opens up but it doesn't play. All the hits are on the Grid Map but the track in Sonar is gone except for that folder track that comes with Superior Drummer 3 when creating the track. I would really like to save that drum track if possible. Anybody?

Yikes . . .  Sonar X3 was over 10 years ago, and I'm guessing you didn't have the Auto Save feature enabled . . . when you say all the hits are still there, are you saying the midi track (hits) are still there ? Is this inserted as an instrument track ? . . . maybe you could split the track back to audio + midi, and see if anything is there . . . but if you deleted the midi, it may well be gone.

If the superior drummer instance is still in the project, you can assign an audio track back to it and it'll be audible again. It sounds like you might have just deleted the tracks rather than the entire synth.

Yes, that is what happened. I was able to recover the MIDI track but it's no longer in the Grid Editor. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thank you for the response.

I was able to recover the drum track and make it show up in the Grid Editor. New problem, Superior Drummer won't play when I hit play on Sonar. Almost there. Home stretch, lol.

Insert an audio track and assign its Input to Superior Drummer's  main outputs.

If you still don't hear anything, verify that Superior's UI is responding to the MIDI input and you can hear it when you click to audition drum sounds in its UI.
