I accidentally moved the midi from my volume automation lane onto my track? how do i get it back so i can edit? and also why did it happend?

Close the Automation lane. Shift+click on the green envelope in the trackview and see if you can reassign it to the volume. It looks like it got orphaned or assigned to a different envelope.
