Salvatore Sorice Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Hi @Scott R. Garrigus. I have 2 of your Sonar books (love them). More tips / tutorials would be most appreciated! 1

More tips / tutorials would be most appreciated! Hi @Salvatore Sorice thanks very much for reading the books! Yes, I'm working on more tutorials. This video is the first one in a series. My only problem is finding time to get them done, but I will somehow. Stay tuned! 1
Chaps Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Funny, but the thing I learned from you that I have gotten the most use out of was how to make a .BAT file to delete .WOV files in the picture cache (now modified to delete everything in that folder). I still use it frequently. Does it make any difference in my productivity? Probably not, I just like doing it! I'm a simple guy and easily entertained. 1

Hmmm... since it still works, maybe I'll make a video. 😁

Every now I see a post about potential problems with the picture cache running out of room. If nothing else a quick and easy method of emptying the picture cache could eliminate that source of trouble. It still works and I added it to my Windows Task Scheduler so it empties that folder on a weekly basis, but I still like doing it by double-clicking the .BAT file. Again, easily amused. Also, just want to mention that the controls you are using as an example in your video may not be visible if they are hidden in the Track Control Manager options (or whatever that drop-down box is called), like mine was. 1

Hmmm... I'll give that some thought, although these are meant to be tips and I'd like to keep them on topic. Having to mention that every time wouldn't work very well. Thanks for letting me know though!
