I tried to reach out to support thru the support page about using paypal for Sonar subscription-yes I was finally giving in. Sonar free is nice but without the things that are blocked it does not work for me. CWBL worked fine but of course they are taking that away.

Anyway, no reply from CW? Yes there is a document or explanation about using paypal for subscription but I don't really understand it and I refuse to use credit cards. Just my way.

So I guess I am being force to start using one of my other daws-I have licenses for Reaper and Studio one.

If the idea is to get us to subscribe a reply to my question about paypal would be cool. The way I read their method with paypal they are making up their own rules for paypal. But like I said I really don't understand it. I have other subscriptions using paypal for MANY YEARS.....Oh well.

On August 31, 2024 I used PayPal to purchase a 1- year subscription for SONAR. I had no problem at all. 

The merchant was "Paddle.com Market Limited" and the emailed receipt came from "BandLab Singapore PTE. LTD"

Whatever all that means, my subscription has been working fine these past 10 1/2 months.

Was the procedure the same as any other paypal transaction? I ask because the support page CW has for using paypal is, well, weird and doesn't seem like the procedure I am used to. I have been using paypal for decades.

As I staed above the paypal process  in the CW support pages does not seem , well, normal. That is why I am asking these questions. I have been pretty vocal about perpetual license and anti-subscription since the day CW started this.

So I was finally giving in, as a 30+ years user of CW\Sonr, paid for every upgrade as many here have, but was\am confused by the support page you have for paypal subscriptions.
