Maybe old ST2 libraries. 11 hours ago, megated said: MixBox, Syntronik and SampleTron 1 hour ago, kitekrazy1 said: They still sell them. Some are complete and do not any tinkering. (1) I checked the other day by searching the IK Store for Syntronik. I just checked again. The site says 0 [zero] for Syntronik Products. (2) The other day I also checked the IK Forum and Syntronik came up as being discontinued--but if you already own it, you can still use it. (3) I just checked on line (several places). Audio Plugin Deals has an article "Still Using Syntronik 2 in 2025 (Discontinued)? These Are the Synths Worth Loading Up and As Well As Alternative Synths" It might be true (I don't know) that some third-party vendors have them for sale, but so far as I have seen. IK does not have them listed for sale. Edited 13 hours ago by User 905133 fixed typos
ALC
SampleTank 4 MAX v2 provides the Syntronik libraries within SampleTank but doesn’t provide licenses for standalone Syntronik. So, it seems that the standalone apps are discontinued in favor of SampleTank (which makes sense … less code to maintain in the long term). I do like MixBox. It overlaps with T-RackS in functionality on Windows/macOS but on iOS/iPadOS, discontinuing it leaves a void. Edited 12 hours ago by ALC
Nitrate Audio
the discontinuation of syntronik 2 was very odd as it wasn't that old of a product. released in 2022 i think. the discontinuation of mixbox was odd as it seems they were positioning it as one of their most well regarded and well reviewed products. it makes me think there were bugs in them that IKM didn't want to invest more into fixing them or updating to newer versions of the products. makes me wonder whether SampleTank and/or Modo Bass and Modo Drum will be next. IKM are a very big and very smart company and understand this business well. it all makes me think they may be slowly positioning themselves out of the software market and moving into just hardware. the truth is, software is a very over crowded market. This was exactly my thought at the time when I heard they were discontinuing Syntronik and it would make perfect sense. Even from an installation perspective it could simplify things and that's often where they seem to struggle the most. Just speculation at this stage for me though, as I've never seen anything from IK to indicate this, but I wouldn't be surprised.
kitekrazy1
The ST file structure is a mess compared to Kontakt. I decided to delete Syntronik but it wont remove the sounds if they are on a different drive. I do a separate folder for sample based IK stuff. They don't really have an uninstaller for ST sounds that I know of.
