Maybe because it wasn't posted here at the time. I don't recall seeing it. I think if the same thing was posted over and over again at full price then sure, but a lot of people on here don't visit all other parts of forums and so sometimes it's the only place they will find out about these new products, especially if for example they aren't owners, or subscribers to Neumann's newsletters, like in this case. You'll notice updates are posted in here as well and sometimes that's convenient too. There's often no notifications from developers via emails when updates are available. They aren't deals either, but sometimes they're still useful. The occasional new product announcement, or updates, don't seem like much to lose sleep over.
