P-Rizzy
looks really good. the ai features seem like they'd be super useful. it's telling that there's so much enthusiasm for fl studio at cakewalk forum, but very little enthusiasm for their own daws. it seems like an abandoned forum with mostly a small, geriatric group left. honestly, it's pretty depressing. Recently upgraded to all plugins version. Most of it is you get more of their plugins which are optimized for their DAW.

I just tired it briefly, still on the old one as my main DAW. So far I haven't seen much new but scanning and verifying plugins works much faster.

Their plugin manager still annoys me

kitekrazy1
Looperator - someone already complained "we are not beginners". FL became popular because anyone could use it. They annoying part is installing an update doesn't overwrite. You have to removed older versions. My DAW shortcuts are on the taskbar and you end up opening older versions. Apparently, FL studio isn't considered a direct competitor - or it wasn't 7 months ago. 1

Some DAWs wouldn't list FL Studio in crossgrade deals. Maybe they figured out it is hard to pull those people away from their lifetime upgrades.
