I've a few of them from the novation/focusrite freebie thing

I don't believe there are trial versions ?

I'd suggest people read the feedback here before buying  - my take is that they are fine at the freebie pricing

Don't know about their paid ones, but I tried a free soundscape-generator-type one a while ago (can't remember its name). It was kinda cool... except I couldn't make it stop generating noise - and it wasn't because I had a 'stuck' MIDI note either.
