bjornpdx
https://soundcloud.com/orygun/flurry-68 Some interesting preset sounds from the below list of synths that I made into a tune. Not sure what genre this is. "Flurry" comes from the name of one of the presets and this is the 68th version of this song. Zebra, Omnisphere, Arturia CS-80, Arturia Analog Lab, Bazille, Kontakt
daryl1968
Lovely relaxing piece Bjorn. Some nice ethereal stuff going on. Wow, 68th version? Might be time to re-watch Game of Thrones Edited January 20, 2019 by daryl1968
Douglas Kirby
I enjoyed this Bjorn - very nice. To me it was very relaxing - cool vibe. Funny - I don't have any of those synths you listed.
SPAK
I liked this Bjorn it really numbs the senses, unlike so many other instrumentals similar to this, it hold your interest ... it's really very good indeed Best Regards Steve
PhonoBrainer
What was the 59th version like? Hey, just trying out some of these discount emoji. Plural of emoji, emojii? Your tune is cool and swirly. What's on the master bus? For me some elements are getting smooshed into a two-dimensional plane. Is there a "glue" compressor or something? I dunno. Is there a master bus eq that's removing the highs with an eq? I listened on headphones, and definitely appreciated the panning. Glad to know there are others with 60 versions. Is there less fancy master bus processing on version #15? might be worth a revisit, just to check. Anyway, very nice flow of a tune here. For fun, the next Soundcloud song of yours was "The Promise You Made" - great tune, and mix depth aplenty. A good reference I think for "Flurry68" . . . cheers, -Tom
Amicus717
Very pleasant listen, and quite relaxing. Really enjoyed it. Had a rather hypnotic vibe to it, but still maintained interest.
bjornpdx
Daryl, Douglas, Steve, Amicus Thanks for listening. Tom, Man you are really good noticing these things. I really liked one of the presets on Arturia CS 80 but to me it had this annoying screeching kind of distortion around 4400Hz so I eq'd that out. Maybe that's what you're noticing? It was just on the one track though. I'm seeing an audiologist about this weird distortion I'm hearing only in my left ear that no one else seems to hear. James G
I like it Bjorn, shades of Tangerine Dream . Cool sense of movement, could be good with a train journey vid, maybe Trans-Siberian. Nice set of sounds, I really must invest in some new synths.
bjornpdx
Thanks James. I could easily get by with just 2 synths, Omnisphere and Zebra, but the Deals forum has been the ruin of this poor boy.
Lynn Wilson
Another outstanding instrumental, Bjorn! Boy, you have quite an arsenal of synths, but, they don't play themselves.
Wookiee
Bjorn wanders into Space territory with an excellent tune, nicely done sir. You could have probably tamed that CS-80 V voice using the Low pass filter, as the CS-80 has both a HP and LP on each voice.
