Wibbles
I was trying hard not to post this song (for the umpteenth time), but it's a stunning live version: This Mortal Coil - Song to the Siren

Kamikaze
There's been a couple of Jolene covers, this isn't a cover, but I love the vibe of Original played at 33rpm. I'd love to hear this as an actual cover, to the point where I spent way to much time years ago learning the fingerstyle part but without the capo, which is 4 semitones down. 45rpm played at 33rpm is closer to 5 semitones. On the subject of Dolly covers, I heard some say that When Dolly sings 'I will always love you' it was about the 'You', and when Whiney covered it, it was all about the 'I'. Kamikaze
My dad is a huge Tim Buckley fan, so grew up hearing 'I must have been blind'. Around 1991 an Indie label compilation CD came out with The Family Cat's cover.

Kamikaze
A friend gave my a copy of this cover about 25 years ago, telling me it was Jose Feliciano. Took me years to track down more info on it, and found it was actually Caetano Veloso. Stunning version! .
