I checked what discontinued SampleTank libraries were removed from my specific default browser view.

Note: I had to do a full rescan of the content for all of the content to appear in Sampletank 4 after performing this update.

I am pretty sure no actual content is removed, however.   

For instance, the Miroslav Philharmonik 2 content still appears when you search (though Miroslav Philharmonik 2 content only shows if no categories are selected)

I wish that IK would ask us if we want to remove discontinued rather that just doing it.  I appreciate very much the heads-up on that as well as the work around.  Thanks.

So Miroslav 2 can now only be accessed through its own vst2, and not through Sampletank?

Within ST4 I tried it last night with a few MP 2 presets and they worked for me. I didn't do an exhausted test. If you have a handful of favorites, I can check those on my PC if that will help.

Clarification: MP 2 CE shows up in my ST4 Browser, MP 2 doesn't.  I am not sure if that's because my ST4 library scan paths are not set up properly or another reason. There are hundreds or thousands of presets there. I spot checked about a dozen instruments (one preset in each of a dozen different instruments) and they played.

I wish they would make it so you can filter out the stuff you don't have and show only what you do.

REVERT!  The broke the standalone.  No sound in all ST patches.  You can't even adjust the buffer size.

I have two audio interfaces and both have no sound.  Works OK as a VST.

This was an unnecessary update.

I'll not update. The last one version updated the graphics mode and made everything slow for me and I had to revert to previous. Same for the IK Hammond B-3X.

That bites. I wonder if anyone else experienced this same issue.

Overwriting doesn't fix it either.  Will have to remove since now it crashes

I should move on and delete everything ST since I don't use it.  I would have done it by now but it runs fine on a HDD

SampleTank 4.exe dated 6/27/2025 9:51 AM  [39,884 KB] works for me based on approx a dozen randomly chosen presets.

I used the IK Product Manager to Update and it worked.  Not doubting your experiences; just saying its not everyone.  

Looks like I downloaded Install_SampleTank_4_(4.2.6).zip at 1:00AM my time. It's 693,125 KB. (Hope this helps.)

The only issue I had with this update is that I had to do a manual scan of the ST4 content (The automatic scan post update was not enough).

After that, every thing ran fine (Standalone and VST)

I seemed to have left that out since my other romplers actually work.

That did the trick.

I noticed without that Sampltron wouldn't load either. I had to go back and redo the audio settings in the B3 as well

Double check the other romplers powered by ST to make sure they work

 

I probably wont install this update despite that.

When a developer removes something and claim improvements without listing them - buyer beware.  When Reaper is updated they list everything.
