Krishna Ramsundar
When I play/record each part separately, they sound great and I'm make sure I'm on tempo. When I record all pieces and press play, it feels like I'm not using the software correctly to really sync it together. Is there any good videos/guides on how to get the most out of CW for recording and layering multiple tracks? For further clarification: ***A decent analogy would be: I'm good at drawing and started digital art, but I'm inexperienced with rendering*** Edited Wednesday at 12:05 AM by Krishna Ramsundar
reginaldStjohn
The Forums Tutorials sub-forum is a good place to start for Cakewalk related information. For general mixing and producing stuff there are a million and one videos and tutorials on the internet. Do a search for mixing tutorial, or audio recording.
marcos69
Mixing your music is a huge topic, and couldn't be answered easily here. My advice would be to go to YouTube and start studying the mixing tutorials. Search "Mixing music for beginners". There is great information available there. Then when you've got a basic understanding come back here and ask specific questions and you'll get more focused answers.
