PhonoBrainer
Aaaah. That was fun. Appreciate the musicianship, swell guitar work. Nice vocal delivery!!! A bit sibilant in the esses, I was listening on decent earbuds. The bass came through nicely. Your lyrics are wrong? Isn't it "caged animals"? The chorus sticks. Well done y'all. 1
Lynn Wilson
From embryo to maturity, this song has gone through quite an evolution. The fact that it got finished at all is due to Ed's patience and persistence. I'm happy to have been a part of this project! Congratulation, Ed! 4
michaelhanson
Nice tune, well done by all! Typical excellent Bapu production. How do you guys get Sound Cloud to embed in the Cakewalk forum? It’s very easy on other sites, but I’ve tried everything here and can just not figure it out. I asked this on my tune as well, if it’s more appropriate to reply there. SUPAREELS
Loads of work here, so well done! I listened to it a few times now and the production must have been a nightmare the construction of this song is IMV 2nd to none .. Well done Ed for being so tenacious think it payed off in spades. Keith Wilby
What an epic song that is. Very nice work indeed. If I may have one very minor comment, to me it seems like the vocals are sitting on top of the rest of the mix in the first verse. Everything evens out after that. Certainly one to be proud of. I struggle with lyrics, I think these will provide some inspiration 🙂
Bajan Blue
Hi All I really like this - great song and great playing - and of course, Ed's great mix Cool stuff Nigel

PhonoBrainer
Huart's remarks were interesting!!! It sounds like he wanted it mixed the way he would have mixed it, which is a super subjective criticism. But how cool to be included! I gather you guys submitted it somehow?

I am a lifetime member of Produce Like A Pro, where we have access to a private forum where ypu can submit it for review. They only randomly pick 10 songs a week and typically there are anywhere from 15 to 25 submissions. The membership also provides multitracks for songs that Warren (or other producers) have recorded with guests artists or sometimes with a young upcoming band. The members can mix those and submit them for review. I've never done that. I've submitted about 7 or 8 songs over the past two years. Only originals. 53 minutes ago, PhonoBrainer said: .....wanted it mixed the way he would have mixed it, which is a super subjective criticism. yeah, but isn't that what we all may do here and anywhere else we listen to other members songs submitted for comments? Since Warren is an accomplished/recognized/pro engineer and producer his (subjective) comments carry at least 1.2 ounces of weight over the *average* bedroom producer (of which I am one 🙂 for sure)
