Cakwalk support via remote desktop (TeamViewer)

sierakowskis

Question

I purchased a suite of Plugins - and I'm having difficulty getting the Activation to work.   I could use the help of someone familiar with Activating  and once activating organizing them into groups so they are not so unmanageable.   If you have remote-access software and some knowledge about Plug-Ins - I would be willing to paypal you some bucks if you could assist me.

Which plugins?  Which brand?

When installing plugins, I do a custom install to make sure the VST2 DLL files (if present) are put into one of the locations as defined in Preferences - File - VST Settings > “VST Scan Paths”.  VST3 files will always be installed in the %CommonProgramFiles%\VST3 folder.

After that I make sure they are properly activated - either via their respective stand-alone, or their respective licence manager , or fro inside Cakewalk/Sonar.

If they are via iLok, I usually deal with that using iLok’s licence manager before scanning them inside Cakewalk/Sonar.

Then in Cakewalk/Sonar Preferences - File - VST Settings, I do a scan.

Then I open Menu: Utilities > Cakewalk Plugin Manager to put the plugins into a custom layout.
