VST colors based on VST2 or VST3 ?

Hi folks -

 

  I just noticed this so not sure when this changed but not that long ago in the menu where you select plugins it used to be that the VST3’s were (I think) blue and the VST2’s were black.

Now they are all black ?  Did I miss something ?

No.  That how they are in Sonar 2025.

Maybe put in a feature request.

Maybe it's the color scheme, which is "Dark", that has an influence on this but my plugins have colors as follows:

• White - vst 3
• Golden - vst 2
• Green - 32-bit

I’m on Dark as well and also have the latest/greatest version.

 

if I remember correctly all my VST3 were blue but as I said now they are the same color as my VST2’s - black.

 

just odd….

I'm going to see if i can turn them black.

I've found some blue ones. They are directx plugins.
