Donald Manson
Hi there I recently got a new computer, switching over to Windows 11. When I installed Cakewalk by Bandlab it fails to recognize several VSTs including studio instruments and Dimension, but recognises others such as Dropzone. I have checked the VST scan paths and rescanned several times, and also created scan logs. These VSTs are in the correct place within the Program folder of windows, so far as I can tell. In the scan log it says that Dimension, for example, is 'not a VST'. I also tried reinstalling studio instruments using the Cakewalk product centre, to no avail. VSTSCAN: ---- 22: c:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins\Dimension LE\Dimension LE.dll ---- VSTSCAN: [ShortPath] c:\PROGRA~1\cakewalk\VSTPLU~1\DIMENS~1\DIMENS~1.DLL VSTSCAN: [RegKey] Software\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Cakewalk VST X64\Inventory\c:/program files/cakewalk/vstplugins/Dimension LE/Dimension LE.dll VSTSCAN: Previously scanned - NOT a VST plugin Scan paths: C:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins C:\program files\common files\vst3 I'm at a loss as to what else to try. Any help much appreciated.
