There is also no signal showing on the faders. When I clicked the orange button on the track (as if I were going to record), there is no signal showing from the instrument or vocal input, and I can't record on the track. So far, I have always used WAV files and had no issues. I thought Cakewalk was supposed to work with AIFF, but maybe not? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When you imported the two AIFF tracks do you see waveforms in the track view? Where are those tracks routed to? Master bus? Where is the master bus routed to? I don't import tracks very often and did not notice this. I was just about to try converting AIFF to WAV, and that would NOT have solved my problem.
