Didn't happen.  Ik stuff always confuses me.

Look in your products on the website.  Same thing happened to me, but I ended up with TS 3.5, not 4, so I wasn't eligible for the coupon.   Given the other issues, I decided to not purchase.

Total Studio 5 Max.
Well, I got it, as I didn’t have the Pianoverse grands (except one) nor the upgrade to T-Racks 6 or the Lurssen EQ.
Still a pretty fine collection, all in all.

I got it yesterday and...
Ba dum tish
missing almost everything new.

The additional Tonex collections do show up in Tonex just not in IK Multimedia Product Manager.
Opened a support ticket with IKM.

In Product Manager, look under the ToneX Collections tab. All empty?

For ToneX I expected the collections to show up individually in the IKM Product manager like they do when you buy an individual collection (as when I bought the MESA/Boogie collection) instead the 9 signature collections are all bundled within the 'Signature Collections Vol 1"
So it turns out that I did get the Tonex items - but the Product Manager should've made that clear.

I've got all the T-RackS 6 Max items as well.  They are installed, but in the IK Product Manager only the Lurssen Mastering EQ shows up under T-RackS 6 Max .  The other items don't show up anywhere in the Product Manager - confusing as hell.

And further analysis shows that I got all the Pianoverse stuff as the Product Manager shows I have Pianoverse MAX  - don't have them installed at the moment because diskspace (30 GB of hard disk space required for each piano title).  Why they don't show this (the individual 9 pianos) under Pianoverse MAX in their Product Manager is a mystery.

I didn't have the AmpliTube Morley Collection but IKM provided me with a code and now it's there.
Again the IKM Product Manager does not refer to this in the same manner i.e. "AmpliTube Morley Collection" that it is referred to on their website or in AmpliTube.

I love their stuff but IKM really needs to update their product manager.

Do your signature collections appear in the local library on main screen? Or are they in the signature collections vol 1 folder?

As a Total Studio 3.5 MAX, I don't qualify for the $100.00 off. Though I did get a coupon code for $50.00 off, or I can use jam points to $60.00 off (but not both).

I'm still on the fence, but the GAS is starting to catch on fire and poised to burn a hole in my wallet.

At $139.99, this is a pretty good deal for the extra stuff that I don't already have.

Damn you, IK!

Hello,

I am at 3.5 MAX as well and considering upgrading.  Would you mind saying where the coupon came from?  IK?  Retailer? I would probably buy at $139 even though all I want is the ARC update and Tonex items.   Thanks!

It came from IK via email. But if you have the points, it's $10.00 less. That's the route I'll take if and when I decide to jump in.

Well, I caved to the GAS. Too weak.... couldn't resist.

Now I'm just waiting on my new SSD. At 30 GB for each piano, I'm gonna need it.

Yeah it definitely shouldn't have even been a thing. But I also have a lot of respect for IK for changing that. Installers the majority of them seem to suck.

I HATE Softube's. They try and charge $1000 for the Weiss Complete bundle and then are too lazy to even give you options in their installer to stop installing AAX and VST2.!

They literally waste a heap of gigabytes and plugin scan times (and sometimes those VST2 /AAX cause issues and crashes during scans) for things I'll never use. I refuse to buy their Volume for that reason alone, as it would reinstall even more every update.

The worst part is I don't even need their installer to do more.. I need it literally to do less! Also on a secondary laptop I use that doesn't have much space at times, if I want to update something like Tape, which is only under 100MB, it says there's not enough space until there's around 10GB! It's like they do a space check for every single plugin they make, if you were installing everything at once, instead of just what you're installing 🤣

They're not the worst offender but up there, just save the PLUGIN folder to your favourites and delete VST/AAX/AU etc. IK are one of the worst offenders (shoving hundreds of GB's of presets into my documents folder?? why??). Their support is next to useless too. I gave up and deleted the entire installation so money down the toilet......

For me what makes Softube worse, is that they still charge ridiculously expensive prices by today's standards and they provide an installer that's hopeless and has seen no almost no improvements, practically ever and it has serious flaws.

It's like them trying to market themselves as a Ferrari and yet, the seats and steering wheel are from Walmart bargain bins.

IK positions themselves as high quality, but have very reasonable offers. The previous TS Max was around $89 at one stage. That's about the price of some of Softube's plugins on sale!

IK is still improving their installer and they listen to customers feedback... Eventually... Sometimes 🤣

Softube don't care about users feedback about it and do nothing about it.

When  you say hundreds of GB of presets, are you exaggerating, or are you referring to the samples required for them?

Most of their stuff is sample based, so I assume it's that, but I am a little curious. I don't own Total Studio, although I do own just about everything in it. It does take up a lot of space for samples!
