John Vere
It is rare but in my long life I’ve known 4 men but only 3 women called Lynn. Getting back to the issue of using screen readers I wonder how Waveform would work for you? If you activate the help widget it displays a text box that explains what you point the mouse at. I know you can’t use a mouse but it also has very good keyboard shortcuts that are super easy to customize. And it’s free for the basic version. Are you referring to the button on each track that says, "Waveform preview"? In Caketalking, it automatically announces that, then says "Don't press this button. It will result in unpredictable results!". I'm not sure what that means exactly. I wish someone could explain. What unpredictable results is this referring to? What unpredictable results is this referring to? I have never heard of any problems using Waveform Preview in Cakewalk. This feature offers up a visible approximation of the sound waves in a track while you're recording. I don't think that is something you would need or want. Maybe they mean when using Caketalking and Waveform Preview together. I think John Vere may be referring to a recording software called Waveform. This is the first I've heard of it, but it does exist.

I know this sounds crazy, but Social Security hasn't deposited Disability benefit funds for me since November of last year, and I'm trying to get those reestablished again, which will definitely take a while. Have you tried the demo of Waves IR-1 to determine whether it will work for you? If it does, it may be the only option that has the other features you need. I've been looking deeply into convolution reverbs for my own purposes, and I haven't come across any others that are likely to meet your needs. Is there a direct link to this plugin? Most important of all, does it have any limitations that I should know about?
ptheisen
Unfortunately, there is no direct link to the plugin itself. Being a Waves product, it requires that you first set up a Waves account and install Waves Central,. Then you choose the individual plugin(s) you want to demo from there. You may need some assistance with navigating that. The instructions are here: https://www.waves.com/support/evaluate-and-demo-waves-products?_gl=1*bjp7g0*_up*MQ..*_ga*MzM5OTk1NzMyLjE3NDUyNjMyNTQ.*_ga_QGSDDSM0JK*MTc0NTY3MzgyMi41LjEuMTc0NTY3NDQ3NC4wLjAuMTg5MTQyNDgzMQ.. The only limitation imposed on the demo versions is the periodic muting of the audio.
