steve@baselines.com Posted April 19 Posted April 19 @kiwichrys from Bandlab on backing vocals. Finally got the video made! https://baselines.com/?p=7298 3 1
Bajan Blue Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Hi Steve Great cover, thought this was exceptionally well done Cool Nigel 1
Kevin Walsh Posted April 20 Posted April 20 An exceptionally good cover! The instruments were beautifully done and the arrangement was amazing. Your vocal tone is so similar to McCartney that I had to stop and check to see if I hit a wrong link. The mix is lush and pristine. Fantastic job on one of my favorite Beatles songs! 1

Waldemar Pawlik Posted April 24 Posted April 24 What can I say, absolutely first class, and you can rival McCartney anytime. 1

bjornpdx Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Steve, Great performance! Amazing how close you came to the original song. And a great concept bringing an old Beatles' song to life with the AI images. You might try some Ken Burns style zooms and pans for added interest but just my opinion. I like this one a lot. -Bjorn 1
jwnicholson78 Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I thought it was great! Really well done cover. And the images in the video were the icing on the cake, really helping the lyrics hit home. jeff 1

Especially after all the time spent on just getting the audio right! Thanks for listening. Steve

RobertWS Posted May 15 Posted May 15 I only listened to it to hear you botch the octave plus a minor 3rd interval (the 2nd, "Where do....."). But you nailed it! 1

But you nailed it! Hahaha - usually I'm a stickler for that type of thing. Your comment reminded me of the horror I felt watching a version of 'The Weight' and the three singers did a major third for the harmony on 'And' totally missing the best part of the song, the ADE harmony.
Wookiee Posted May 21 Posted May 21 The lonely people! They are those left behind when their partners and friends die simples. Always brave to cover a Beatles song nicely done Steve. 1
michaelhanson Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Extremely well done. You captured the essence of McCartney’s vocals for sure. Love the instrumentation, very well done. This is up there as one of my McCartney favorites as well. Happy that you could post this as a cover. I’ve got a cover of Come Together that I’ve done, but I really never know what to do with it, as most of the internet music sites say, “no covers”. 1
