bobbyashrimp
FIRST! There is no better DAW for me than Cakewalk producer 8. I WILL NOT change DAWS. I love that one too much. It functions EXACTLY how I need it to. . . EXCEPT, I need it to support vst3. I CAN NOT use the sidechain, frequency dependent leveling on my Oeksound Soothe2 plugin, without vst3 support. I went and bought Sonar x3 to see if soothe2 was beneficial to my projects. IT IS. I can't stand x3 though. The interface is a BIG step down from its predecessor and it's just not for me. I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount to get cakewalk to get me a vst3 upgrade patch for Producer 8. Posted here, because I can't find a support email contact. P.S. To ANYONE making music at home . . . online search 'how to to use dual compression on vocal tracks' - It will BLOW YOUR MIND if you are as slow to show as I am at all this stuff. reginaldStjohn
I suppose you can request what you like but there is little to no chance they are going to update your version. They are not even updating the free version that proceeded thier paid for version.
OutrageProductions
Not gonna happen. All DAWs that support VST3 are from 2018 or later. Deal with it as is, or upgrade.
Wookiee
@bobbyashrimp as has been politely explained to you this is an unsupported product owned by Gibson who purchased it from Roland.
