Crazy, I also have El Clapo and 18 other BDL plugs. Time for an email, tho $10 is hard to complain about, but at 65, it matters!  ☺️

Other than a new GUI and the fact that this combines El Clapo, Das Boot, and Le Snappet, is there anything new in the sounds themselves....  any optimisations.  Any Change log?

Also, I have El Clapo, Das Boot, and Le Snappet and it was not free (after logging on) . It was $US10.00

got all their shiz.  it was free for me.  

 

I wish the snaps weren't just clave sounds but actual finger snaps.  Kind of a fail.  Honestly, thought this was loading the incorrect sample or something.  

If you're thinking "Hell, I'll upgrade for $10 since the snaps will be worth it"- you'll be disappointed.  

There's auth process has a history of failing on me from time to time, but they always get me up and running within a day if this happens.

First time i went into my account/downloads but couldn't find what i expected, which was either El Clapo 2 or El Clapo 1-upgrade.

Second attempt was signing in but go back to Boz home page and download from there. That did it.

I think you're right.  I have all three and I have a lot of other Boz stuff.    If somebody has all that and didn't get the free upgrade, they should email.

I don't think the originals have the 3 mic positions, 6 band EQ, compressor and step sequencer.  

The step sequencer is nice because you can create rhythm patterns that combine the three of them.   It comes with a few presets. 

But... I wasn't able to set the size and slop differently for claps, boots, or snaps.  Maybe I wasn't doing it right.  If that's true and you can't do that-- it's a feature that the originals still have.   And it doesn't seem like Boz sells the originals anymore.

I just heard back from Boz.  It's $10 if you own v1, and FREE if you bought v1 within the last year.

Meh, I'll save my $10. 
I just don't like the samples used and a new GUI or EQ won't fix that.
My 2 cents, YMMV.
