Hi all,

I'm having the same problem with similar symptoms.  In my case:

Running the latest Sonar (full paid version), old projects created with (pre-BandLab) Sonar Platinum, chock full of instances of legacy LP-64 and BlueTubes/Nomad Factory VSTs.

I manually added the old VSTs to the new Sonar, and they all register without a hitch.  Nothing crashes, no error messages.

My old projects restore cleanly from the bundle files, but any track with these VSTs are totally muted (including no VU meter activity) until the VST's power switch is toggled off and back on, and even then, they revert to muted as soon as the transport is stopped, ergo, totally unworkable.

Since there are no crashes or error messages, how can I help you to help me?

Thank you,
Andy

Do the effects work in new projects for you?

問題を発見し、修正しました。次回のアップデートで修正が提供される予定です。

I had the LP-64 EQ set as the Master for all my projects,
but not only would it mute the sound, but it would also freeze when I reset it, which was a huge problem.
I hope this will be resolved in the next update!

The LP-64 Multiband was included in Cakewalk X3 Studio and I have used this on quite a number of projects. It works OK in Cakewalk by Bandlab, however, it does not work in the new Sonar (trial). The new Cakewalk Sonar (trial) does not recognize the FX in existing projects and crashes if I try to add it on new projects. I reported this to Cakewalk several months ago in the hope that there may be a fix but I have had no reply. The LP-64 was not included with Sonar Platinum, so I was wondering whether it has been ditched because of this, but as mentioned there are no problems with CWbBL which is has all the Platinum attributes.  Any thoughts?

I have exactly the same problem - raised a separate thread on this.

I'm using LP-64 Multiband and LP-64 EQ all over the place (I've got hundreds of Cakewalk files going back decades). As far as I can see, this is VST and 64bit. Other VST, 64 bit plugins are working okay, it just seems to be the LP onces that are not working.

This is quite disasterous for me - it's only a hobby but I'm involved with lots of collaborators and all the tracks I've been working on with them no longer play properly and need re-wiring.

I'm here to confirm: my legacy project (riddled with dozens of instances of LP-64) plays correctly now and sounds right.

Thank you so much, guys!  You are absolute champions.

I'd also like to say:  I'm so happy that 'good old' Sonar is back as an actively supported DAW platform.

I'm afraid this doesn't fix my issue with LPEQ & LPMB

Both of them open with a completely blank UI

This thread is about the LP-64 a completely different older plugin and the fix has nothing to do with the LPEQ, so make a different thread.
Its likely something specific to your system or Win 10. The older LPEQ and MB work fine here.
Try turning off DPI awareness from the cog for the plugin window and re-insert the plugin and test again.

Ok, thanks for clarifying

I did make a separate thread last week

I'll bump it back up into visibility
