Friends, I'm finally going to be able to migrate from my historic TASCAM US-600 to a new interface and, after evaluating several of them, I decided to purchase the Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 USB-C Audio/MIDI Interface (4th Gen).

I'd like to hear your opinions and reviews about using it with Cakewalk/SONAR.

Why do you need an opinion or review on it if you already made your decision?

My friend, I haven't bought it yet. My decision was to buy this interface. Do you have anything to contribute or are you just being rude?

If you have something positive to suggest for me to evaluate, that would be great. If not, silence is golden.

I was being rude? LMAO! You didn't ask for any suggestions beyond what you said that you decided on.

It does have some nice features. The only things I can think of to mention are that it uses software (Focusrite Control 2 ) to control direct monitoring, and other mixing tools. I like that kind of control with my Steinberg UR24C (which also has a dial on the front for direct monitoring blend) and Focusrite Control 2 looks more sophisticated than what I use with my UR24C. I have seen one review of a similar Scarlett interface and the reviewer hated using software for direct monitoring and preferred using a dial on the front panel.   Also, the USB protocol for the Scarlett 4i4 is USB 2.0 and not the faster USB 3.0, which may or may not make any difference on your system.
