Sven Posted April 1 Posted April 1 I have 84 saved workplace names but when I go to select one it only scrolls down through the first 50 names. I can see all the saved names here: C:\Users\ACer\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core\Lenses\User I now create new names like "AAA - MySong 1" to have the workplace name appear near the top so I can continue work for now. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? Thanks.

From what I have seen there is no hierarchical folder system. I might have made a request to have folders within folders for Workspaces a few years ago. It is possible that I deleted that because so many Cakewalk users didn't really use Workspaces and I felt I was the only one who would benefit from it. I put my older/unused Workspaces in archival folders which are basically inaccessible from the Cakewalk menu/browser. It works for me. (See image below.) If I need to revisit some older Workspaces I can move some lesser used ones into an archival folder and copy the older ones into the main folder. I have tried to extend my personal use of Workspaces in ways I don't think it was initially intended, have run into problems, and have concluded that the needs of the majority of Cakewalk users can be met by having a very limited number of Workspaces. 8 hours ago, Sven said: I now create new names like "AAA - MySong 1" to have the workplace name appear near the top so I can continue work for now. For a subset of my Workspaces, I use dates. I use a file-searching utility from voidtools (Everything). This makes it super easy to find and to re-organize my *.lns files. Hope this helps.
