UAD is no longer supports iLok cloud. iLok machine and iLok dongle are still supported. Once you deactivate/reactivate your plugin you'll have 3 activations instead of 2. You get three per license (was two), and you can split, or auth/de-auth them however you like between dongle and local/machine. Nick Blanc Posted yesterday at 10:19 AM Share Posted yesterday at 10:19 AM Suddenly I'm getting all kinds of errors in the plugins. Missing content, etc. Relaunching the plugin a couple of times is the trick. Great design.
Tianzii
Has anyone tried to remove UA Connect after machine activating the plugins? Are they still working without UA Connect? I don’t mind having it installed, but I don’t want to spawn itself like a zombie behind my back when using a plugin. I have uninstalled UA Connect and PolyMax is still working fine. I uninstalled all of the other UAD programs I was demoing after deciding that I just didn't need them. It's just that I have all that they cover, already covered many times over! 🙄 1
rsinger
Thanks for pointing that out. I broke down and bought an iLok dongle last year. All I have on it are UAD plugins. I can ditch the dongle and free up a slot on a switched usb hub,

I could see UAD Connect if you have their interfaces. But there is no shortage of reinventing the wheel and those wise enough to rely in a DAWs included plugins.
