Nick Blanc Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Suddenly I'm getting all kinds of errors in the plugins. Missing content, etc. Relaunching the plugin a couple of times is the trick. Great design.
Tianzii Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) Has anyone tried to remove UA Connect after machine activating the plugins? Are they still working without UA Connect? I don’t mind having it installed, but I don’t want to spawn itself like a zombie behind my back when using a plugin. Edited March 31 by Tianzii 1

I uninstalled all of the other UAD programs I was demoing after deciding that I just didn't need them. Edited March 31 by ZincT 1 1

rsinger Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Thanks for pointing that out. I broke down and bought an iLok dongle last year. All I have on it are UAD plugins. I can ditch the dongle and free up a slot on a switched usb hub,

I'm starting to remove stuff based on strange eco systems. I could see UAD Connect if you have their interfaces. But there is no shortage of reinventing the wheel and those wise enough to rely in a DAWs included plugins. 1
