I guess this is what UVI were hinting at a couple of days ago...

Update UVI Workstation via the UVI Portal.

I installed 4.0 with the new browser and tags last week so probably not the "something big" they were teasing. For me the best thing about the new browser is it gets rid of the long time it was taking to load the library menu. The NKS style audio previews are pretty handy too.

Under the preset Group "Rhythmic" and the preset "Select Kit" I get no sound whatsover.

Working here Larry - have you tried double clicking on the Selected Kit from the browser?

I did notice that AutoPlay doesn't auto play 🙄

Yeah, this has been out for a bit so I still think something else is coming from UVI.

I guess you guys are probably correct. I check for updates regularly but didn't see this UVI Workstation update until today (and anyway I usually use Falcon so not that bothered about Workstation updates).

Some have also suggested that "something big" could be Beatbox Anthology 3. That would be good as I have BA2 so a nice price for an upgrade would be appreciated.

Yep....every other preset works....but "Selected Kit" gives nothing at all....weird!

That is weird.

If you right click on the sound bank  (UVI Starter) and then click on "verify soundbank integrity" what doe sit say?

Mine says "Your soundbank is valid".

FWIW - I couldn't even find the Starter pack after running the installer twice. I finally found them and copied them over to the drive with my other soundbanks but it still didn't show! I finally went into the workstation preferences and added the (now) default folder, shut down, and reopened the workstation. Voila, they were there and played. Hope that helps. They were located at "C:\Program Files\UVISoundBanks\UVI Starter.ufs"

EDIT: once they showed up, I was able to delete them from the default folder. Strange.

Thank you 👍🏻 I also spent ages looking for the UVI Starter soundbank and gave up in the end.

Mine was in that folder along with the Falcon Preset Tour. I have now copied them to my drive with all my other UFS files.

By the way, I also found some soundbanks in this folder --> C:\Program Files\UltimateSoundBank\UVISoundBanks
