I think my drum arsenal is excellent now that the latest AD Drums 2update is also available for free. I have avoided Toontrack since the upgrade fiasco. Thanks for pointing this out Pragi. I was able to visist fxpansion and click on the button to migrate my account to inmusic. Took only a few steps and a few minutes. Now shows up in my inmusic account. Downloading now. Thanks! Seems inmusic is finally starting to do things right. Took them two decades but they're starting to treat us smartly with the free updates for prior owners. They need to keep doing more goodwill gestures like this for those of us who have seen them in a low tier, poor light forever. This is a good start. Also glad they're updating things still. Nice to see. Things are looking up for them. Edited March 10 by Rational

Could it be that you currently have two library locations? I experienced the same issue, but I was able to load everything as planned after figuring out the second installation route and doing a rescan.

I couldn't find another location and I did a fresh install. The BFD core folder has folders for kits 1, 2 and 3 but none of those folders have the missing pieces. bluzdog
I installed the content again in the existing BFD core folder and the installer added several more kit and percussion piece folders. It looks like it's all there now. Thanks for the help.
Marc Cormier
Awesome. I love the update, but reauthorizing my expansions is not fun. Edited March 10 by Marc Cormier

Do you know if the old installer has to remain installed for authorization? Is the InMusic installer perhaps sufficient for this?
Fwrend
Rather than add to my post above, I was wrong about not having to REdownload everything. I was miffed and put in a support ticket. It took a couple of days but they did reply (below). Unfortunately, I went ahead and ran the downloads again (stupid that that is the only option!). Here is their reply. Maybe it will help others. "May I kindly ask you to download the BFD License Manager instead and have BFD3 authorized there? Here are downloads: Windows / MAC Additionally, here is an article that you might find useful as well: BFD 3 | How to Install & Authorize BFD 3 Software : BFD Drums. I own bfd3 but I'm not seeing a free update on my in Music profile, nor when I go to bfddrums.com. I only see the promo price of €59. How did you get the free update? [Edit] to answer my own question and to help anyone else who might be a bit confused: I can now see that 1) you have to download the new in Music downloader 2) open it and navigate to the bfd3 tab 3) click on the tab and you see version 3.5 4) download that version. It's still to see whether I'm going to end up with duplicate pathways or duplicate files. Thanks Edited March 16 by X-53mph
