They were highly polarizing - people seemed to either strongly love or hate them. Their androgynous attire totally freaked some people out. Despite their short comings they were highly influential. Along with Blue Cheer, Iggy & the Stooges, they were one of the early protopunk bands. I don't think this producer checking out the band quite knew what to think...  2
