I have an older AsRock board for my Intel system. It seems every manufacturer has a go around with quality issues. I've always used Asus and Gigabyte as well. There was another article that a fix was revert to a previous BIOS. Anytime there was a BIOS update on a board I read what it is and if it doesn't affect me then I pass. I'm less confident these days in upgrading hardware. Since I spend more time buying software instead of actually using it I don't need a powerful system.
