We're pleased to announce Early Access of 2025.02! This release includes our new Audio Editor View as well as several improvements and bug fixes.

Please note that this release does require membership to authorize.

What's New
 

• Audio Clip View (Phase 1):
   
  • The first phase of our new audio clip view aimed to speed up and expand your workflow in Next!
  • Waveform Preview: Double click on an audio clip in the timeline to enable Audio Clip View. This allows you to individually edit audio clips in your project. Double click on your track to re-enable Track Inspector
  • Loop: Create loop points in your audio clips to loop specified sections of the clip. Change loop start and end by dragging markers or by using the pencil tool in the clip timeline.
  • Trim: Adjust start and end points to trim within the view.
     
• Loop Browser Enhancements
   
  • Ability to navigate to pack by clicking on pack image when previewing loops or shots.
  • Improved performance when navigating browser.
  • Loop Browser will now open by default.
     

Bug Fixes

• XSampler now shows region editing handles etc. when sample is missing
• Exporting Audio Shifts in Time
• Transport looping MIDI clips causes missed note at beginning of loop
• Project Art Selection Does Not Update As Expected
• Stem Separation: Convert files to MP3 prior to upload
• Follow tempo unrolled loops have an incorrect audio offset in iterations after the first
• Audio thumbnail for follow tempo stretched clips sometimes drawn incorrectly
• Hang When Unrolling MIDI Clips over each other
