Wow haven’t used any of those V plug-ins for over 15 years lol! Mostly the reason was because I didn’t like all the noise in them. That was my bad. The gain structure was probably not set up that well. Maybe I should go look again.

edit - I do remember that I really liked the tone of these.

Are you sure? You must have the gain really cranked on the input.

Thats not the plugin making the noise!

You have to manage your gain staging.

A lot of folks drop the ball on this aspect
