Xoo Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Anyone has any experience with this nVidia video chipset? In particular, does it support multiple monitors (I've seen "yes" and "no" answers online so far)?
garybrun Posted February 7 Posted February 7 According to their website and RTX3050 can support 4. I have the RTX3060 and Im very pleased with it.
Xoo Posted February 7 Author Posted February 7 Thanks - that's what I thought too until I found a site saying just one monitor!
OutrageProductions Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I've been driving 4 monitors with a 6Gb 3050 for quite a while and love it. But I don’t game on my workstation.

Xoo Posted February 8 Author Posted February 8 It wasn't a shop but a tech site. Seemed very odd but you never know!
Salvatore Sorice Posted February 8 Posted February 8 I have RTX3060 and it handles 3 4k displays (one 55* and two 48”) flawlessly. Not a gamer. PC is dedicated music workstation.
Xoo Posted February 25 Author Posted February 25 It does indeed work fine - interestingly, Vegas (or whatever it's called now!) used to crash on exit every time with my old (also nVidia - same drivers) video card, even if I did nothing. This doesn't. Doesn't seem any faster than the older one, but it works, is more future-proof and still silent. Oh, and I could add a third monitor sometime 🙂 Thanks all.
