Danny Rhodes
Hello, Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am new to Cakewalk and my main DAW is ProTools, so this is a bit of a learning curve. ...But is there a way that when I open 'Piano Roll View' for it to display the MIDI Note Numbers automatically when I select PRV? At the moment, I right-click to bring up the 'Note Names' dialogue box and change the setting to '0..127' so the layout changes to this which is what I want. I have a batch of MIDI files to edit (400 +) so something just to save a couple of clicks would help speed up the process! Thanks, Danny
David Baay
I'm afraid you might be out of luck. A Project Template could save this configuration but you would lose MIDI tempo and other content when importing to a project started from the template rather than opening MIDI files as new projects. And I checked to see if Workspaces save this setting but it appears not.

I will just get used to the extra couple of clicks to get what I need
Promidi
Saving a project template with a locked screenset should to the trick. Edited January 31 by Promidi
