dithering

If I am processing a 32 bit stereo track on a different pc and uploading in 24 bit to a streaming service , do I need to use dithering or does it even matter.  Do streaming sites like Sound Cloud dither when they convert ? Thanks ...    mark

Short answer: no, it doesn't matter.

But it doesn't hurt anything, either. I guess that's just another way of saying it doesn't matter.
