Dustin Alcock
Despite signing into Cakewalk Sonar, the latest download available, it still shows "Not Activated" I even tried offline activation, but after uploading the .dat file for that it still did nothing. I'm at a loss here. I've disabled all PC/Network protection in Windows 11 temporarily to verify it wasn't due to that. It even says I'm signed into my account but still doesn't activate. Is a paid membership now required?? Edited Sunday at 10:21 PM by Dustin Alcock
Dustin Alcock
n/m, paid the $99 for a year subscription and it activated. Their info/marketing/communication on this is horrible. The pop up screen that tries to sell you the membership talks about the perks of added plugins and distribution, but makes no mention of unlocking Cakewalk Sonar and Next functionality to actually use it (save). Jeremy Oakes
Sign out via the help menu then close the app. make sure no browsers are open (Edge, Firefox etc) then re-open Sonar and sign in via the Help Menu. That should work. J
Promidi
You might want to get that serial number off the thread.

Doesn't matter, need to do a full login. Serials are pointless at this point.

Actually this is probably correct because serials are the old method from the good old days when you actually owned the software. And I 100% agree that the web site sucks. Just go to any other Daw web site and it’s pretty straightforward. I needed to re install Sonar a while ago and I was taken to the Sonar legacy site. I don’t know who’s in charge of the website but I would fire them!
