How do I get rid of this line that follows the mouse cursor. Its very distracting

Another question, why the hell is this other line drawn over every element of Cakewalk

Just hit the letter "X" to disable the aim assist.

PC keyboard ‘X’ toggles aim assist. Alt+X toggles the position display. The Now Cursor misdraw is a bug. Tabbing away from CW and back can sometimes cause and/or correct this as can opening/closing Preferences.
