I’m not getting it. I already have the essentials bundle, but I was expecting a serial to be able to authorize my computer in ilok and not cloud.

would be nice to get to choose something comparably priced but I didn’t have.  Can’t they tell that?

You should be able to do that.  I did that with the Pultec.  Had the cloud auth license, but then got the Pultec freebie and that license was machine auth.

Exactly! Did the same with Pultec Collection And Galaxy Delay.  But now I keep on trying to get this gift without receiving it.

You can get it binded to your device in ilok instead of authorizing it in the cloud with an always online collection.

I don’t even get the email with the serial. It might work but the email with the serial didn’t arrived.

No email.  Shows up in UA Connect to redeem.  Might need to uninstall Pure Plate first?

Still doesn’t work.  Probably will get it FREE on PB with a serial number that would register in ilok as activation on device in the near future, if and only if. Maybe this one is only a cloud only activation, which I already have.

Odd that it didn't work for you.  I didn't have any problems, but my cloud auth is on my paused Spark sub and I had uninstalled all the UAD plugins and added back the freebies with machine auth.  Good luck with PB!

UA Connect is a big turn off and the only way to turn it off is to delete it.  It will update on its with a DAW opened.  Might as well install a virus while you are at it.

As far as I'm aware, only some of their freebies are machine iLok, the LA2A freebie that I got some time ago was machine iLok. All commercial purchases are always cloud only - please let me know if there are any that I'm missing. I don't buy even their cheapest plugins because I don't do cloud.

Correct.  Only the freebies are machine auth - except Polymax for some reason.

Oxide, Century Tube, Galaxy Tape, LA-2A Tube, Pultec collection, Pure Plate, Verve Essentials - all machine auth.  PolyMAX still cloud - probably because it was the first freebie.

I'm sort of with you on the no cloud auth.  Only thing I use currently that's cloud is Slate's Fresh Air.  I'd do a physical iLok except that'd be a pain with my laptop.

I'd probably snag the UAD Studio Classics Bundle if I could do machine auth - still pondering it though as I liked those when I had the Spark sub.

Looks like Pure Plate is Cloud only, at least on my side. I’ve got the Essentials and won’t give the ilok machine activation code as gift.

Did it work for you  this Pure Plate gift as machine authorization in ilok?

Yes, but I didn't own the Essentials bundle.  I had Spark for a while, but delete all after I cancelled. I've just collected the freebies.  I do own the Pultec, but was able to claim it as a freebie at some point to get the machine authorization and show two licenses for that.

Didn't know the other freebies are machine-able, good to know. I have Polymax too so I always thought all other freebies, except the La2a, are all cloud only.

When was the Pultec free? I somehow missed that. Or maybe was it free with a purchase? That would explain why I didn't get it
