Midi not recording on specific project

Hi all, 

I'm trying to figure out why on a specific project my midi isn't recording. On all my other projects and also when creating a new one midi is recording fine. 

Cant find what is wrong with this project, same soft synth, same settings. Am I missing something, maybe I hit some setting.

Any help would be appreciated  Would save me time to start project all over

Probably just a corrupt project. Double check your midi device settings and that your midi device is selected in the setup.  Do you see midi activity in the track or in the console?

If all else fails do a "save as" and save to a new folder. Check the box that says to move audio with the project.

Does it fail to record MIDI on all tracks of the problem project?

@57GregyYes it was doing it on all tracks of the project. 

@reginaldStjohn  I saved the project again in the same folder with a new filename and it seems to have been fixed. Midi is recording now. Cant figure out what happened. Maybe its the cakewalk update I made yesterday.

Cakewalk updates would not do this.

Can you post a screenshot of your project, including the inspector showing the MIDI track info for the problem track.
