LAGinz
Loved using 2 and 3. Had to get, despite not purchasing much this season.

PhonoBrainer
If i install 4, does it overwrite 3? Can I still use 3? Will my old projects with 3 still show 3 and be ok?

Both are working now in one PT session. No issues.

PhonoBrainer
Does the Coolio view of all the instances at once work on an older computer/graphic card? My 2013 windows beast doesn't have Open GL or some such thing, so some modern plugs can't gui with it. Anyone install proq 4 on a really old windows computer? It does on mine, which is graphic card-less but not that old (i7-8700k).

The best way to know for sure is to give the trial a go.
GTsongwriter
I wonder how cheap VSTs going to get when everyone is creating songs using A.I. like SUNO? It's crazy how good some of it's coming out. The only way I know it's A.I. currently because it tends to have issues recreating cymbal effects and it ends up sounding like gun fire between Reverbs / delays... You've gotta have a trained ear to hear it, but it can be heard. The free version is using version 3.5 which isn't as good as version 4. I have been curious in competition in this area, so I'm researching it. Edited December 19 by GTsongwriter

You've gotta have a trained ear to hear it, but it can be heard. The free version is using version 3.5 which isn't as good as version 4. I have been curious in competition in this area, so I'm researching it. The market for VSTs are either musicians or producers/engineers. AI created music seems like a different audience. There are a lot of creatives out there that simply like to create things themself and to have control over creating it. While the same people will enjoy messing around with AI or even as inspiration/starting point - there are enough people that want to make something that there is a market for it. The real drop in VST prices is driven by the fact most people already have more than they need to create and manipulate sounds. Thus the value one sees in a new EQ or Compressor that doesn't really do anything different. The majority of the market also isn't fundamentally making a profit on their creation.
